About Timothy "Tim" Seville  

Tim enlisted in the Navy SEAL's BUD/S and Qualification training program at age 20 in March 2008 at Naval Special Warfare Preparatory school, Great Lakes, Illinois.
After completing his initial training at the NSWC BUD/S Program, Petty Officer First Class Tim was assigned to Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG or DEVGRU),
Forward Navy SEAL's Operator in Afghanistan, where he served as JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack-Controller) operator.

In August 2011. PO1 Tim deployed to Helmand province, Afghanistan, in support of operation "Guardian Watch".
on October 22 2011, while joining his team to fight off a group of rebels attack in a valley, he suffered severe injuries to his body and left arm from the shots from an enemy fire,
including two bullets in his body and one in his left arm.
After-action reports state that he threw himself in front of his wounded teammate to protect them from enemy fire.

Tim is one of the tenth living recipients to be awarded the Medal Of Honor for his ruthless action in Afghanistan,
He is credited with attempting to shield a fellow sailor from an enemy fire on a checkpoint Echo in combat operations near Helmand province, Afghanistan.

After three months of medical recovery, Tim was willing to continued serving as a Navy SEAL's instructor combined with JTAC operator.
